Browsers

To do these exercises you will need a recent browser:
Firefox, Opera, Internet Explorer, Safari (for Mac OS X)....

They are all free.

Flash

In some exercises the texts are recorded. To hear them you will need Flash. It is free.

Viewing the exercises

Press F11 on your keyboard to get the full screen mode and see all of the exercise.
Under View in your browser you can choose the size of the text.

Scoring

Your exercise will not be scored until you have found all the correct answers.

Buttons

Click on this button to go to the next question or exercise.
Click on this button to go back to the web page you have come from.
Click on this to go to the list of exercises.
Click on this to choose your answer.
This means your answer is correct. It is called a "smiley".
This means your answer is not correct.
In some exercises you see this button.
Click on it to see if your answer is correct.
In some exercises you see this button.
Click on it to see the next letter or word.
Click on this button to close the pop-up window.

Drag and Drop exercises

In these exercises, an item (a word, a picture ...) on the right has to be moved to match an item on the left.

To move the item, click on and keep your finger down on your mouse to drag the item to the corresponding item on the left. When it is over or next to the lefthand item, release your mouse to drop the item. The righthand item will remain next to the lefthand item.

When all the items have been dragged to the left, click on to verify your answers.

In the following exemple, the word "blue" has been dragged from the right and dropped next to the blue square.

The exercise consists in doing the same for the other colours.
